First day of WaterMiser Mission

• I bought a sterilite bucket at target on Sunday to use for my project. The bucket capacity is 68 liters/ 18 gallons (61cm x 47cm x 40cm). 

• On Monday morning, I woke up early because I knew I would have to measure my water use. This is a lay out of my water use in the morning.

1.    Because I already took a shower last night, I only had to wash my face in the morning. I used .250 liters of water to wash my hands and 1.1 liters to wash my face.

2.     I brushed my teeth with .25 liters of water.

3.     I flushed the toilet with 7.5 liters of water.

    4. For breakfast, I had a glass of juice (.25 liters)

5. I used .13 liters of water to iron.

6. .25 liters of water for my Bio 140 experiment.

1. When I got to school, I went to the book store to get my daily apple juice J (.45 liters).

    2.  I got home at 8pm and had another glass of juice with my meal (.25 liters)

    3. I washed my plate with 2 liters of water.

     4. I had a glass of water after studying for my Tuesday class (.33 liters of water)

 

 

     5. I boiled I.5 liters of water to shower

6. I added the boiled water to my bucket of 7.5 liters of water.

 7. I flushed the toilet again (7.5 liters)

•  At the end of the day I had used 1liters of water to wash my hands
•  In total I had used 30 liters of water for the day..
